• PureMessage for UNIX scans email and attachments for specific keywords, credit card numbers, phrases, or patterns, and re-routes or tags inbound/outbound messages based on their content. It also blocks messages, removes or renames attachments, notifies or warns users, and routes to third-party end-to-end encryption or archiving solutions based on a wide range of message attributes.
• Administrators can assign different policy rules to different groups and users, ensuring that PureMessage for UNIX fits the organization’s needs and enforces its acceptable use policy.
• PureMessage for UNIX can use TLS encryption or integration with third-party encryption services to ensure confidentiality is maintained.

• PureMessage for UNIX’s management console enables centralized administration across multiple servers, providing automated quarantine management, message tracing, and reporting on email traffic and threat activity.
• Role-based administration allows the master administrator to assign rights and privileges based on organizational need. These can relate to policy, quarantine, groups, separate companies, and departmental sub-administrators. In addition, individual users are able to manage their own personal quarantines.
